It seems that currently the failure is a real "fail" instead of a "tmpfail". So the pollution of the alerts page is (probably) not an issue anymore. I tried this by triggering a non-existent package (apt-daemon, yes, typo).² > The triggering mechanism should probably be fixed to not test in the case of > removal. This remains true however.
