Package: redsocks
Version: 0.5-1+b1
Severity: grave
Tags: upstream
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

Redsocks doesn't function on Debian buster. It hangs after receiving
packets direct by iptables and never redirects packets to proxy.

It seems redsocks 0.5 is incompatible with libevent 2.1 which is in
buster and sid's repo. Here are related upstream issues:
https://github.com/darkk/redsocks/issues/107
https://github.com/darkk/redsocks/issues/122

After building redsocks against old libevent statically, the redirector
works again.
