Package: wajig Version: 2.0.19-2 Severity: normal Since a few versions ago, wajig has lacked complete documentation. The README file still reports that complete documentation can be obtained with `wajig doc', but this is not the case any more.
This is unfortunate, for many reasons such as: - I can not access the docs if I am not connected to the network - access is usually slow from my home, where I have a slow connection - I can not do a text search on the documentation - For the future, I have no assurance that the documentation will be maintained, so I may end up with an undocumented package in the future Obviously, these are general reasons why a package should come with docs, not just a reference to docs available elsewhere. Here are possible solutions: - reinstate the previous situation, where `wajig doc' printed complete docs - distribute the package with separate docs -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-rc3-pr-hrt-1 Locale: LANG=C, [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Versions of packages wajig depends on: ii apt 0.5.28.1 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii python 2.3.4-5 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-apt 0.5.10 Python interface to libapt-pkg -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
