Package: yorick-av Version: 0.0.4-1 Severity: important Tags: upstream Dear self,
Due to changes in the FFmpeg API, the files produced by yorick-av are essentially garbage for all but the libtheora codec. yorick-av should call av_packet_rescale_ts() before av_interleaved_write_frame(). This is a bug of important severity: - it is impossible to use yorick-av to directly produce movies in most popular formats; + however yorick-av can still produce movies in at least one format. Those movies can then be reencoded using ffmpeg itself, albeit at the cost of execution time and quality loss. This is fixed upstream.
