This is intentional. See the changelog. (quodlibet is already working on using the submit daemon, and it's not going to depend on anything else...) I'll add a note to the part in /etc/default/lastmp where you have to explicitly enable that, and explain an ImportErrors in mb* for the next rev, so it's all a bit more user friendly, but ignoring Recommends: should only be done at your own peril :) -- things change.
