We are in the process of using meson for a project that uses libnice. To this end, we included a build-dependency in that project to libnice-dev. When building, we encountered: Meson encountered an error in file meson.build, line 28, column 0: Could not generate cargs for nice: After debugging, we found out that barco@EMS-0060E05F8088:~$ pkg-config --cflags nice Package gnutls was not found in the pkg-config search path.
