Dear Maxy,

The autopkgtests of the most recent upload of stgit fail consistently:

autopkgtest [10:29:34]: test testsuite: [-----------------------
Running 4 tests in parallel
[...]
Failed:
   t1900-mail.sh
Done
autopkgtest [10:31:03]: test testsuite: -----------------------]
autopkgtest [10:31:03]: test testsuite: - - - - - - - - - - results - - - - -
- - - - -
testsuite FAIL non-zero exit status 1

  https://ci.debian.net/packages/s/stgit/unstable/amd64/

These tests fail in both Debian and Ubuntu. Unfortunately Debian does not
consider a regressed autopkgtest a blocker for testing (which would be
useful to help us improve the quality of the release), but Ubuntu does; so
this regression will block the new version of stgit from inclusion in the
next Ubuntu release until fixed.
