After upgrading my servers to stretch, local-storage migration stopped working with this Versions:
libvirt-bin 1.2.9-9+deb8u4 libvirt-clients 3.0.0-4+deb9u1 libvirt-daemon 3.0.0-4+deb9u1 libvirt-daemon-system 3.0.0-4+deb9u1 qemu-block-extra:amd64 1:2.8+dfsg-6+deb9u3 qemu-kvm 1:2.8+dfsg-6+deb9u3 qemu-system-common 1:2.8+dfsg-6+deb9u3 qemu-system-x86 1:2.8+dfsg-6+deb9u3 qemu-utils 1:2.8+dfsg-6+deb9u3 After backporting the sid version to stretch, migrations works for me for migrating qemu-kvm<1:2.8> to qemu-kvm<1:2.11> but not vice versa.
