telegram-desktop build-depends on libdee-dev, and its
build system checks for dee-1.0.pc in Telegram/gyp/telegram_linux.gypi,
but it does not appear to make use of any APIs from libdee. Is this
dependency obsolete? Can it be removed?
The reason I'm asking is that dee currently has a release-critical bug
(and will get another when icu from experimental is uploaded to
unstable), and the only packages that depend on it are zeitgeist and
telegram-desktop. This puts telegram-desktop in danger of removal from
testing or even unstable.
