I am unable to reproduce this error, even after installing python-wxgtk2.4 and python-wxgtk2.6 in various configurations. Could you send some more information about exactly what wxPython packages you have installed by sending the output of: $ dpkg -l '*wxgtk*' and (including the quotes and line breaks): $ python -c 'import wxversion print wxversion.getInstalled()' Thanks, Cameron Dale
