The user does # dpkg-reconfigure locales He is presented with a box with just the first of maybe a thousand items. How can he get to the bottom of the list without just holding down the arrow key? He types "?". No help comes forth. Why not reveal some help upon "?" He types h. No help. In another window he types pstree -al, revealing "whiptail" is the program at work. He does man whiptail. Again no keystrokes are revealed. He has discovered the actions of TAB and ESC and RET and SPC.
