Package: meep Version: 1.3-4.b1
A new upstream version of meep (version 1.4.1) has been released. The most important new feature is a python interface, which will make the tool available to a wider range of users. The source is available from the meep github page: https://github.com/stevengj/meep Documentation is available at http://meep.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ I (Homer Reid) am a meep developer and am happy to work with the debian team to assist in incorporating the new version into Debian.
