Just wanted to follow up that I also tried removing with:- apt-get --purge -f remove roundcube-core
and then reinstalling. This did not produce an error after dpkg-reconfigure or warn "Not replacing deleted config file /etc/dbconfig-common/roundcube.conf" as had previousy, so it uninstalled cleanly. (I removed the /etc/roundcube directory just to be sure.) reinstalling still produces a non-working roundcube install though.
