Package: python-mode
Version: 1:6.2.3-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Uh, not sure if this is the egg or the hen, but emacs in python-mode uses tabs
for indenting as opposed to earlier version(s) using blanks.
This confuses python interpreter, leading to IndentationError(s).
