The cupsctl command should show "_debug_logging=1". lpinfo runs /usr/lib/cups/daemon/cups-driverd. I was hoping to find out whether or not it looks in /usr/share/ppd/ (which it should). Your system appears to be broken in more than one way. Cheers, Brian.
