Package: grub
Version: 0.95+cvs20040624-14
Severity: normal

I put a kernel called vmlinuz-good in /boot, and update-grub did this:

Searching for GRUB installation directory ... found: /boot/grub .
Testing for an existing GRUB menu.list file... found: /boot/grub/menu.lst .
Searching for splash image... none found, skipping...
Found kernel: /boot/vmlinuz
Found kernel: /boot/vmlinuz-good
Segmentation fault
User hook script /sbin/update-grub failed at
/var/lib/dpkg/info/kernel-image-2.4.27-2-686-smp.postinst line 1008.

There was a long pause before the segfault, and normally it lists other, debian
kernels too..

I renamed the kernel image to vmlinuz.good, and this somehow avoided the
problem.
