  Programming Lang: JavaScript
  Description : light-weight module that brings window.fetch to node.js

Instead of implementing XMLHttpRequest in Node.js to run browser-specific
Fetch polyfill, why not go from native http to Fetch API directly? Hence
node-fetch, minimal code for a window.fetch compatible API on Node.js
runtime.
 .
 Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine.

on matrix/irc:

help finding the right fetch implementation. gitlab -> react-dev-utils
-> react -> fbjs then needs isomorphic-fetch, which in turn depends on
node-fetch and whatwg-fetch and we already have libjs-fetch
any suggestion on possible replacements?
avoiding duplication

From this description I underatand that libjs fetch is a client side
implementation.

Then it can only replace whatwg-fetch . But, isomorphic fetch needs one
serverside inmplementation too
So, I suggest not to replace anything if there is no npm module conflict
