Hello, When static network configuration is set in the debian installer, /etc/network/interfaces would contain e.g. address 10.0.2.15/24, i.e. with CIDR notation. On GNU/Hurd ifup turns that into something like inetutils-ifconfig -i /dev/eth0 -A 10.0.2.15/24 inetutils-ifconfig however doesn't know that CIDR notation, and tries to resolv 10.0.2.15/24, which thus fails. It should instead detect the CIDR notation, and configure both the IP address and the netmask.
