Basically, when I insert a removable device (either USB drive or CD or DVD ...), the disque is correctly detected and even mounted. However, Gnome does not see that and if I try to access the disc from the Gnome file manager, it will try to remount it and, of course, fail. This is an important bug as it renders the use of a DVD with totem impossible. As stated in the bug report #309350, restarting the dbus service allows gnome to recognise the device, but it will *never* be unmounted (for gnome) after that, even if restarting dbus.
