Package: gconf2 Severity: normal At the moment gconf-schemas --register <list of n .schemas> does n calls to "gconftool-2 --makefile-install-rule" instead of one call with all the schemas. On my box the first way is twice slower than the second one (tried on gnome-applets-data which takes around one minute to register at the moment here)
