On 2017-12-10 Ostinato v0.9 has been released. While this version looks pretty good, it has one major drawback: The python API was removed from the open source package and is now under a proprietary license, see https://devguide.ostinato.org/ChangeLog.html
So the python library can be added only for version 0.8 and below. I think, that it doesn’t make sense to freeze Ostinato at v0.8, so I’m very pessimistic about a python-ostinator package.
