Package: autotools-dev Version: 20161112.1+nmu1 Severity: important The config.guess and config.sub scripts are outdated: more than one year old. We had a report of a build failure of GNU MPFR 4 RC1 on some machine due to the scripts provided by Debian (not sure whether this comes from these scripts or other ones provided by Autoconf, but an autoreconf -f -i on that machine solved the problem). In any case, the intent of this package is to provide up-to-date scripts.
