Package: lightdm-gtk-theme Version: 0.4.9-1 Please drop the recommends on gnome-icon-theme-symbolic. It will be removed from Debian soon because it was abandoned upstream in favor of adwaita-icon-theme (which includes symbolic icons).
In Debian 9 "Stretch" and later, adwaita-icon-theme Provides gnome-icon-theme-symbolic. Also gtk3 depends on adwaita-icon-theme (and lightdm-gtk-theme depends on gtk3). Thanks, Jeremy Bicha
