I've forwarded your request upstream, they suggested that you check the
tag is present with:
faad -i yourfile.m4a
(if you have faad)
They also requested an excerpt of one of your file, for example the
first 500 kB as produced by:
head --bytes=500k foo.m4a > foo-header.m4a
