hp-doctor complains about some dependencies (below), could any of these be related to the problem? I notice that for command line scanimage, changing from zeroconf (zc=something) to direct IP (with ip=192.168.1.xxx) makes it work but gimp is still trying to use the zc= URI I tried to modify the URI in .gimp-2.8/pluginrc and that didn't fix it either.
