I looked at the logs: # tail -f /var/log/syslog | grep 'DENIED' Unfortunately I get no messages, despite thunderbird fails to start. However, you'r right! The issue is now fixed with: # aa-disable /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.thunderbird Best regards Christophe
