pulseaudio build-depends on the libatomic-ops-dev package, but never uses it. The only file which references atomic_ops.h is "src/pulsecore/atomic.h", however it is only used if HAVE_ATOMIC_BUILTINS is not defined which is never the case when GCC is used as the compiler. When GCC is used, the __sync based atomics are used instead. Thanks, James
