Package: sosreport Version: 3.5-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
We found a severe regression introduced by the following change: [sosreport] add per-plugin package verification lists. Many "packages = <PACKAGE>" lines are no longer work preventing automatic package detection. The situation is also reproducible with sosreport upstream Current upstream PR : https://github.com/sosreport/sos/issues/1155 Would be great to have this fix into Debian once the upstream PR is merged in sosreport project. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.4.0-102-generic (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages sosreport depends on: ii python3 3.5.3-1 ii python3-six 1.10.0-3 sosreport recommends no packages. sosreport suggests no packages.
