First of all, you need to CC the submitter of a bug if you reply,
because else he doesn't receive the message. That's why I didn't respond
earlier.

I don't think this is the case. We use a very default setup as provided
by the package after installation. I do believe that this message in
another bug might be the problem:

The '-q' option you pass on the commandline seems to undo the
ReallyQuiet config setting. The right solution is to remove the -q and
add the Quiet option in the default config. I've tried this and will see
the coming days wether that indeed solves the problem permanently.
