Hi, This bug report is valid only for Jessie where Pluma is GTK+2. Adding python-gtksourceview2 dependency in Buster (or Stretch) is completely useless... Pluma won't use it.
I've noticed it because it's also the cause of having unneeded python-gtk2 package installed in Ubuntu MATE 18.04.
