Package: gnome-games-app Version: 3.26.2-1 Severity: normal Hi there,
isn't Gnome Games supposed to support SNES ROMs via libretro modules? I have a handful of SNES ROMs in SMC format and also one in SFC format, but Gnome Games is unable to play any of them. It just presents me a frowny stating "Oops! Unable to run "Super Mario World" The system "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" isn't supported yet, but full support is planned". However, I am sure I have already read blog posts of people reporting that they played SNES ROMs with Gnome Games. I have the following libretro modules installed: libretro-bsnes-mercury-balanced:amd64 094+git20160126-1 libretro-snes9x:amd64 1.53+git20160522-1 Cheers, - Fabian -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'experimental'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.13.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gnome-games-app depends on: ii dconf-gsettings-backend [gsettings-backend] 0.26.1-1 ii libc6 2.24-17 ii libcairo2 1.15.8-2 ii libevdev2 1.5.7+dfsg-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.36.11-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.54.1-1 ii libgrilo-0.3-0 0.3.4-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.22.24-3 ii libgudev-1.0-0 232-1 ii libretro-gtk0 0.12.1-1 ii librsvg2-2 2.40.18-2 ii libsoup2.4-1 2.60.2-1 ii libsqlite3-0 3.21.0-1 ii libtracker-sparql-2.0-0 2.0.2-1 ii libxml2 2.9.4+dfsg1-5+b1 ii tracker 2.0.2-1 Versions of packages gnome-games-app recommends: ii grilo-plugins-0.3 0.3.5-2+b1 gnome-games-app suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
