Package: ncmpc
Version: 0.27-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

ncmpc does not let me decrease the volume (using - or left arrow),
nothing happens when I press either of those keys. Increasing the volume
(+ or right arrow) works as expected.

This only happens when mpd is set to use Master as its ALSA mixer
control rather than the default PCM. The relevant lines from my
/etc/mpd.conf are

audio_output {
        type            "alsa"
        name            "My ALSA Device"
        mixer_control   "Master"
}

Any other MPD clients that I have tried do not have this problem. For
example, “mpc volume -5” works fine.
