Also seeing this. Every few days/weeks I start getting corruption of objects (messed up bitmaps, icons that are blank, background that doesn't clear/update), etc...
running 2:2.99.917+git20161206-1~bpo8+1 on Broadwell-U (8086:1616) specifically on a Lenovo X1 Carbon 3rd gen. Problem doesn't happen on 2:2.21.15-2+b2, however that version doesn't support acceleration on Broadwell so everything is slow.
