Package: cc65 Version: 2.16-1 Severity: wishlist This doesn't appear to be in policy, but common practice is that the main package at least Suggests: the documentation package (some packages use Recommends:).
Currently only the opposite (cc65-doc Recommends: cc65) is in effect. There does not seem to be consensus among doc packages on that. Some do Suggests:, some Recommends:, some nothing at all. So I guess there is no reason to change that. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'testing-debug'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.13.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages cc65 depends on: ii libc6 2.24-17 cc65 recommends no packages. cc65 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
