Package: release-notes Severity: normal Hi,
Section 4.7 "Preparing for the next release" of the jessie->stretch release notes do not mention that Debian 10 will require migration to the kernel's "predictable network names". (Or, I imagine, manual assignment of network names.) Because users are going to have to migrate anyway it might be useful to do so sooner rather than later and "prepare for the next release". :-) See: /usr/share/doc/udev/README.Debian.gz https://sources.debian.org/src/systemd/235-2/debian/udev.README.Debian/ Bug#881769 -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable'), (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64)
