When I add
server = newszilla6.xs4all.nl
to /etc/news/leafnode/config (newszilla6.xs4all.nl is a host that has no
A-record but only a AAAA-record, and is only reachable via IPv6),
fetchnews -vvv says:
newszilla6.xs4all.nl: connecting to port nntp...
warning: newszilla6.xs4all.nl: cannot resolve host name: Name exists in
DNS, but has no associated address ("A"-type DNS resource record).
newszilla6.xs4all.nl: connection failed.
It would be nice to have a version of leafnode that is aware of modern
internet technology and that enables me to retrieve my news via IPv6.
