Right. The real question is why build in $TMPDIR if not building in /tmp when TMPDIR is unset? I think you want the resulting package to end up in the current directory. This is an obvious result, as evidenced by the output of the equivs-build command. My opinion is that the "fix" for bug #660765 is a regression and should be reverted. peace & happiness, martin
