Package: libcrypto++-dev Version: 5.6.4-7 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I can't install both amd64 and armhf versions of libcrypto++-dev. Steps: dpkg add-architecture armhf apt-get update apt-get install libcrypto++-dev libcrypto++-dev:armhf reports that there is a conflict libcrypto++-dev : (Depends): libcrypto++6 (= 5.6.4-7) (Conflicts): libcrypto++-dev:armhf libcrypto++-dev:armhf : (Conflicts): libcrypto++-dev So I can't have both packages installed at the same time. This causes troubles with crosscompilation -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: armhf Kernel: Linux 4.4.0-93-generic Locale: LANG=uk_UA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=uk_UA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to uk_UA.UTF-8), LANGUAGE=uk_UA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to uk_UA.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: unable to detect Versions of packages libcrypto++-dev depends on: ii libcrypto++6 5.6.4-7 libcrypto++-dev recommends no packages. libcrypto++-dev suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
