The fix "apt-get install --reinstall postfix" only helps partially:
1) after executing the command, postfix starts
2) however, after another reboot, postfix again does not start up and I 
need to repeat the reinstall command

This means that after each reboot, postfix will not come up 
automatically -- please fix.
