I've had news from the writers of the patch to «gettextify» Webalizer. The actual author has left the company and is no longer reachable (nobody knows how to contact him). But the responsible for the development feels responsible enough to help and to give some time to lobby upstream to get it included if possible. He also thinks using dpatch would be a great step ahead, and we would soon be able to ask Blair to try to play with Geolizer once again, hopefully for the last time. I could then probably have that specific patch distinct soon. Maybe a good start would be to try to get the other patches included upstream asap, as there should be no objections if they fix security or memory leaks problems (I seem to remember that I read fixes to off-by-one bugs in loops at least). > > > But we can try to convince him. > > Maybe, but in a second stage. > Ok, > > Regards, > Jose Carlos
