This is just a status information: Currently this ITP is blocked by a licensing issue, vzlogger is GPL without a OpenSSL exception clause but has components linked to OpenSSL. I opened a Git issue to track a possible reclicense or rewrite of that portion of the code at https://github.com/volkszaehler/vzlogger/issues/331
