Package: gnocatan-meta-server Tags: pending Followup-For: Bug #351391 Ok, the previous fix didn't work because it lacked a -f option to update-rc.d. Now I did use it, so only /etc/init.d/gnocatan-meta-server remains there after the upgrade. I tested this with piuparts.
Since this is a conffile, and it may contain manual changes, I don't want to remove it. Instead, I added a NEWS item to gnocatan-meta-server, informing the user that any changes must be transferred manually to /etc/init.d/pioneers-meta-server. Due to bug #330256 in dpkg, the conffile is not removed when upgrading, even if it was unchanged. I think this should be fixed there, not here. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.11 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
