Package: python-gunicorn Version: 19.6.0-10 Severity: important https://packages.debian.org/stretch/python-gunicorn
Depends: dpkg-dev >= 1.15.7.2 This causes gunicorn and python-gunicorn to bring in a compiler as dependencies in stretch. The version in stretch-backports does not have this dependency but rather than expecting everyone making a fresh install to go to backports, could this be fixed in proposed-updates please? -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386, armhf, arm64 Kernel: Linux 4.12.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages python-gunicorn depends on: ii python 2.7.14-1 ii python-pkg-resources 36.2.7-2 ii python-setuptools 36.2.7-2 python-gunicorn recommends no packages. python-gunicorn suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
