I'm in favor of using dh_auto_configure, just would like to check with you
if i'm missing something (like a regression).
IMO the patch proposed by Helmut is a good fix and improves the
packaging overall, not only for cross-compilation (if only by removing
lines).
A year went by, and we're past the freeze again, so I think that it's a
good time to apply this.
Would it help if I prepare an NMU, or sponsor a package prepared by
Samuel?
