I'm using the debian package without any patches and the original configuration. Just changed the channels.conf, because the original one doesn't hold any DVB-T2 HD data and doesn't have any data that works for my area (Stuttgart/Germany). The adaptor does work with VLC, by the way. AND: I've used it, already, with mythtv and kodi. --- System information. --- Architecture: Kernel: Linux 4.12.0-2-amd64 Debian Release: buster/sid 500 testing ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ===================================-+-============ libc6 (>= 2.16) | libcap2 (>= 1:2.10) | libfontconfig1 (>= 2.12) | libfreetype6 (>= 2.2.1) | libgcc1 (>= 1:3.0) | libjpeg62-turbo (>= 1.3.1) | libstdc++6 (>= 5) | libsystemd0 | debconf (>= 0.5) | OR debconf-2.0 | init-system-helpers (>= 1.18~) | adduser | lsb-base (>= 3.0-6) | Recommends (Version) | Installed =================================-+-=========== lirc | 0.10.0-2 ttf-bitstream-vera | 1.10-8 OR fonts-freefont-ttf | 20120503-6 Suggests (Version) | Installed =====================================-+-=========== vdr-plugin-dvbsddevice |
