The way the daemon is started and integrated is quite complex, I don't really know how it should be done, thus without a way to test any review I can do would be worthless. This differs from an untestable package with generic packaging (like some s390-only thingy I just uploaded). I'd recommend bothering someone who has a clue about udev and DE startup.
