Package: tiger Version: 1:3.2.3-14.3 Followup-For: Bug #505906 Dear Maintainer,
This bug is still present which is easy to confirm: $ echo 1234 /usr/sbin/prelink | prelink -y --md5 -c /usr/sbin/prelink.bin: option requires an argument -- 'c' Try `prelink.bin --help' or `prelink.bin --usage' for more information. Furthermore the original issue that triggered the use of prelink to compute MD5 checksums (Debian bug #445531) no longer seems to exist. So I reported this issue on Savannah along with a simple patch removing the use of prelink. https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/index.php?52087 -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.12.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=fr:en_US (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages tiger depends on: ii binutils 2.29-9 ii bsdmainutils 9.0.12+nmu1 ii debconf 1.5.63 ii libc6 2.24-17 ii net-tools 1.60+git20161116.90da8a0-1 ii ucf 3.0036 Versions of packages tiger recommends: ii chkrootkit 0.52-1 ii exim4-daemon-light [mail-transport-agent] 4.89-6 ii john 1.8.0-2+b1 pn tripwire | aide <none> Versions of packages tiger suggests: ii lsof 4.89+dfsg-0.1 -- debconf information: tiger/policy_adapt: tiger/mail_rcpt: root -- debsums errors found: debsums: changed file /usr/lib/tiger/systems/Linux/2/deb_checkmd5sums (from tiger package)
