Trying, but lack of bulk re-scanning functionality makes this difficult. :( I don't want to trash my whole database because it contains last-played data though. This is actually a big annoyance as I move files around in my collection using other programs. Or I retag. But rhythmbox doesn't notice these changes. If I re-import I get files in their new locations, but their old locations are still in the db; I don't see a way to remove entries for deleted files automatically. But maybe this is fixed in the new version? Anyway, it looks like it is fixed. I removed all the dud entries by hand, re-imported my whole collection and all the genres are correct.
