Just FYI. There are some packages using the stringprep functionality of libidn. This has no replacement in libidn2. We (libidn2 upstream maintainers) have a libprecis (for PRECIS[1] implementation) in mind. PRECIS replaces the IDNA 2003 stringprep functionality.
