Ah. Apologies. My confusion. It was changed by rebootstrap in order to make it cross-build correctly. This was done to deal with the issue outlined in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=812965 Sp rebootstrap applies this patch before building: --- a/debian/curl.install +++ b/debian/curl.install @@ -1,2 +1,3 @@ +#!/usr/bin/dh-exec usr/bin/curl -usr/share/zsh/* +<!cross> usr/share/zsh/* So this is not a valid bug.
